McDonough-Whitlow, P.C. originated as McDonough Engineering (est. 1992) and has achieved recognition throughout the Central Illinois region for a multitude of services rendered to State, County, and Municipal Agencies. Our specialty services in Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Transportation Engineering and Land Surveying have augmented the design teams of Architects and other Engineering Professionals. Area industries, schools, contractors, and developers have also relied on our engineering and surveying expertise. Since the merger with Hard Surveying in 2001, McDonough-Whitlow, P.C. offers our clients a more complete range of services.
McDonough-Whitlow, P.C. is pre-qualified with the Illinois Capital Development Board and the Illinois Department of Transportation. Our pre-qualification with the Capital Development Board includes Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineering and Land Surveying. The pre-qualification for the Department of Transportation is in the areas of Roads & Streets, Highway: Simple, Pumping Station, Location Drainage, Waterways Typical, Rehabilitation, Route Survey, Land Survey, and Mechanical Engineering. The firm is certified as a Female Business Enterprise (FBE) with the Department of Transportation, and with Central Management Services as a Small Business Enterprise.
